Tamarins-Willy

Meet Willy, a small, engaging male Tamarin at 14 weeks old, named for his lively spirit. He is at a critical developmental stage, having recently gained independence from being constantly carried. His coat displays the soft, dense fur and striking colors (specific to his species) that are now fully apparent. Willy is highly exploratory and active, using his sharp claws to rapidly climb and leap between perches. Although weaning is complete, he still seeks out his caregivers for comfort and food-sharing opportunities. Look for his bright, intelligent eyes and expressive facial communication when he’s curious or playing. He is a social and vocal infant, now relying less on clinging and more on his own agility.
